This is a unique set of two lithographic prints which shows the attack of the French Grenadier Company belonging to the 1st Battalion of the 2nd Line Regiment from Prince Jerome’s Division. The Chef de Bataillon (Brayet) can be seen leading what seems to be a hopeless and desperate charge, while detachments of the British 2nd (Coldstream) and 3rd Foot Guards Regiments open fire from the solid brick garden wall at Hougoumont.

This limited edition, signed set of prints by artist Chris Collingwood exhibits stunning depth and detail. Series 1: 'Struggle for Hougoumont' is a highly collectible and rare, first pair of an annual series on Waterloo.
