Powered by a BMW 801D engine producing 1,800 hp, the A-3 version was capable of flying at 400mph plus. This Focke Wulf 190 is known as 'Black 7', also an A-3 variant. This fighter belongs to the Staffelkapitan of 8.JG 26, which was based at Wevelghem in March 1942. This particular plane was flown by the fighter ace Oberleutnant Karl Borris. It is finished in an accurate depiction of 'Black 7's camouflage scheme.
